TRYOUT INFORMATION-FALL 2026

Tuesday, Aug 25th and Wednesday, Aug 26th 

7th grade: 4:30-6:00

8th grade: 6:00-7:30 

Thursday, Aug 27th

7th and 8th grade: 4:30-6:00 

What to wear/bring: 

Plain white T-shirt with your number written in large, BLACK Sharpie. The number should be written on both the front and back. 

Volleyball shoes, knee pads, shorts, water bottle. Hair back in ponytail/braid/out of face. 

During tryouts, players will be evaluated on both their volleyball skills and their overall attitude. We’ll be looking for athletes who can consistently pass with control and accuracy, serve overhand with confidence, and demonstrate solid fundamentals in hitting and setting. While advanced skills such as jump serving are a plus, strong basic skills are what matter most.

Just as important as skill level is how players approach the game. We’ll be looking for athletes who are coachable, work hard, stay positive, and communicate well with teammates. Players should be attentive when coaches are speaking, show respect for others, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve. Our goal is to build a team of players who not only have volleyball ability, but who also contribute to a positive team environment and are committed to getting better throughout the season.
