2025 Winter Tryout Information

Congratulations here is the list of girls cheerleading this winter

                                                        2025-2026 Winter Cheer list
Make sure all updated physicals and paperwork on uploaded on to DragonFly Max.

During the three-day tryout, athletes will learn material that will consist of motion technique, jumps, a chant, a cheer, and a dance. They will also be given the opportunity to demonstrate any tumbling. They will be evaluated on their ability to perform the above material, along with showing spirit, exhibiting good sportsmanship, and a willingness to work hard.

Students trying out should come equipped with clean athletic sneakers – No FASHION SNEAKERS (converse, Air Force 1’s, Jordans, etc…), a white t-shirt with tryout number on the front (no logos), black shorts and white socks. Their hair should be pulled back away from the face and no accessories or jewelry should be worn. Students are expected to work hard during these three days and it is advisable to bring a water bottle with them to the tryouts.

If you are asked to join the team, practices will typically be held on non-game days, besides Fridays, from 4:30-6:00 in the auxiliary gym. The first practice will be on Thursday, August 28th. Our first football game is Thursday, September 10th. Practices and games are mandatory.

Students asked to join the team will be asked to purchase a few required items including plain white cheer sneakers, maroon briefs, a hair tie, white socks, and a warm-up. The school will provide a cheer uniform. They will be expected to come prepared for each game with these items.

Again, thank you for your interest in CHMS Fall Cheerleading. I look forward to seeing your student-athlete during tryouts.
