2023-24 Boys’ Basketball Team <- Click Here

Students who are trying out for basketball and have registered on Dragonfly and submitted all of their paperwork will be issued a tryout number. This number should be on the front a white shirt that can be seen from a distance.  This should be done prior to tryouts to help speed up the check in process on the first day of tryouts. TRYOUT NUMBERS <- NOW POSTED!

• Check in for the First Day of Tryouts will be on Monday, November 13^th begins at 6:00pm. Meet in the hallway outside of the main gym to check in and get your tryout out number. The actual tryout will take place from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Make sure to arrive prior to 6:30pm.
• Second Day of tryout is Tuesday, November 14^th at 6:45am – 8:45am. Meet at entrance in bus parking lot. Second will be split into two different groups. The number of kids will determine when you have tryouts. For example: Tryout numbers 1-50 will go 6:45am – 7:45am. 51-100 will go 7:45am-845am. Cuts will be posted later that afternoon after school.

• Third and fourth day of tryouts will be held Wednesday and Thursday, November 15^th and 16^th at 6:45am –8:45am. Final cuts will be posted night of November 16^th by 9:00pm. 

Things to know for tryouts:

• All paperwork must be completed/submitted on DragonFly prior to the first day of tryouts.
• Required to wear white shirt with number on front and back. Black shorts. No jewelry will be worn.
• No parents are allowed in the gym during tryouts.
• All boys will be required to run the mile. Guards must be under 6:30min / Bigs must under 7:30min. (GET IN SHAPE)
• We will practice before school every morning 6:45am-8:45am up until the first game. After first game it will be 7:00am -8:30am. They can shower at school.
• Final roster will have between 10-13 players.
• We don’t practice on game days or whenever they are out of school.
• Make sure the boys bring any medical devices like inhalers to tryouts and have with them at all times.
