Winter Playoffs Review

The 2025 NCHSAA Swimming and Diving Championships took place February 6 – 8 at the Triangle and Pullen Aquatic Centers.

Eno River freshman Evan Myers won the 2025 Men’s Diving Championship.

Community School of Davidson junior Addison Nardone won the 2025 Women’s Diving Championship.

Lake Norman Charter sweeps the 2025 Men’s and Women’s Swimming State Championships.

Durham School of the Arts sophomore William Clark won the 2025 Men’s Diving Championship.

Western Alamance junior Michaela Bently won the 2025 Women’s Diving Championship.

Cardinal Gibbons won the 2025 Men’s Swimming Championship.

The Myers Park Mustangs claimed their fourth consecutive NCHSAA 4A Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship on Thursday, February 6th at the Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary.

Myers Park tallied 260 points in the competition to finish just ahead of Green Hope. This is the fifth in program history overall, as the Mustangs first won in 1976. 

The Mustangs’ Karina Plaza, Mary Drummond, Avery Klamfoth, and Katherin Guenther won the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3.23.39. Emma Richardson and Taylor Weaver joined Plaza and Klamfoth in the 200-yard Medley relay and took first place, setting a new State Meet record in the process.

Charlotte Catholic junior Mason Kramer won the 2025 Men’s Diving Championship.

Charlotte Catholic sophomore Reagan Leckner won the 2025 Women’s Diving Championship.
