The First Annual CMS Hoops Classic

The first annual CMS Hoops Classic was held on Thursday, April 3rd at the Spectrum Center. The event was a collaboration between the Charlotte Hornets and the CMS Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) to showcase the top basketball players from high schools around the district. Players had the opportunity to show their skills in four events; 3-point shootout, skills challenge, dunk contest and an east vs west senior all-star game. 

Anyone who bought a ticket to the event also received one free ticket to a Charlotte Hornets game with proceeds from each ticket going to support CMS Athletics.
