East Mecklenburg HS Hosts 55th Annual Jim Hayes Wrestling Tournament

East Mecklenburg High School hosted the 55th annual Jim Hayes Wrestling Tournament on Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd.

The Jim Hayes tournament is the oldest continuous running wrestling tournament in the state of North Carolina. 

There were 18 teams participating this year. The two day tournament had JV matches, and varsity matches for men’s and women’s wrestling.
