Greater Charlotte families and athletes have a new resource for quick and specialized orthopedic and sports medicine care. The newly-opened Atrium Health Orthopedic Urgent Care located at 3030 Randolph Road, offers walk-in care for orthopedic and sports injuries, 7 days a week. This new location makes it easier than ever to access injury care, with afternoon and weekend hours, helping patients quickly return to their favorite activities pain-free.

Atrium Health is making a substantial donation of life-saving devices to every partnering school in the greater Charlotte area. 

With the support of the Greg Olsen Foundation, and in partnership with DeFibtech, the donation of 89 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) ensures that athletic trainers at local schools have vital life-saving equipment at their fingertips during practices and games.

Jennifer Gardner, RN, MBA/MHA, and Assistant VP of Outreach at the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute, helps to lead the effort to ensure that schools are equipped with the tools needed to protect the health and well-being of student-athletes.
