UPCOMING EVENTS:

Winter Sports tryouts will begin on Wednesday, 11/12/25 for boys and girls basketball. All paperwork will be done online using the tab titled “registration” provided at the top of this page. Also, don’t forget to signup for your sport specific tryout using the “Sports Sign-up link” that is hyperlinked above by clicking on the word “link” in bold letters at the top of this page. We look forward to working with our student athletes this upcoming  season. 

2025 Winter Sports Tryouts

Boys and Girls Basketball

• Tryouts for Winter Sports will begin Wednesday, 11/12/25. Students will need to sign-up for tryouts using the ” Sports Sign-Up  Link” provided at the top of this page beginning on 10/27/25. Students should wear a white t-shirt and bring the sport specific items necessary for tryouts.
• All required paperwork is due by Friday, 11/7/25 no later than 4 pm. Required forms include the hard copy of the physical and dragonfly registration. Online paperwork will be filled out online using the  registration tab at the top of this page. A hard copy of the sports physical needs to be turned into the front office for coach H. Williams,  letting me know which sport your student is trying out for by this date as well. 
• Winter Sports tryouts are from 4:30 – 6:30 pm for girls basketball and from 5 – 7 pm for boys basketball. These will be closed tryouts. No parents will be permitted to watch their student athlete(s) during tryouts. Students should be picked up outside of the school gymnasium at the bus parking lot.
• Students that are selected for a team will be required to pay a $75.00 non-refundable fee to participate for each season of participation. This payment can be made online once  a student has made a team.
• The required Fall sports parent night will be Tuesday, 11/18/25 in the school gymnasium at 6 pm sharp! All parents are required to attend.

Fall sports athletes will be taking team and individual pictures on Monday, 11/24 during practice. If you would like to purchase athletic pictures send your student athlete with their money and order form or confirmation that you paid online.

Congratulations to the following young men for making the 2025 Mavericks Boy’s basketball team. If you see your number  you will have your first practice on Monday, 11/17. There is a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, 11/18 at 6pm in the gym. At least one parent or guardian must attend this meeting.

Congratulations to the following young ladies for makein the 25-26 Lady Mavericks basketball team.  If you see your number  you will have your first practice on Tuesday, 11/18. There is a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, 11/18 at 6pm in the gym. At least one parent or guardian must attend this meeting.
